Amazing family business! We have used them exclusively for over two years as they have always been prompt, reliable and friendly. However they actually went above and beyond when our toddler had to have an operation and follow up appointments. As such we had to be ferried back and forth to the main land on a regular basis, AKAR did all of our transfers and supported us all the way to the extent they made sure they booked the next hospital date in straight away to ensure the correct vehicle was available (as she was in a cast.) The compassion shown made a difficult time easier. Cannot rate highly enough and would like to say a big thank you! See you Saturday!
I cannot speak highly enough of this superb family run business. We have used AKAR taxis for more than 10 years, they are always punctual, polite and damn good fun. Great business and people. Look forward to doing future business with you.

Prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Brook Chine.

Good arcade. We came mainly to go bowling but the alley really needs an update i think and when the balls are returned they come really fast! A bit of a risk of getting hurt.
Hours can be spent in here on the 2p machines etc. The cafe is good, the rides at the end are fun, the toilets are always dark and there's only 2.

This was an unexpected stop off. We had seen it advertised in the Wightlink magazine and also passed the signs on the road about 10 tines. We stopped by for some food and got a very good value ham, egg and chips. Very tasty and enjoyed watching the Cessna aircraft taking off and landing. Worth stopping if you have a chance.
The over head airplanes plummeting to the ground, shortly after take off, is a very entertaining pleasure to watch. Every Saturday, I come here to admire the tin cans take off, a synchronized unit of WW1 veterans, still thinking that the war is not over and proudly protecting their country. Sometimes, I never see them come back, who knows what has happens to them.
